Aluminium steel composite plate performance research

Steel / aluminum composite plate with the mechanical properties of steel and aluminum alloy corrosion resistance, high electrical conductivity and high thermal conductivity and other properties, in the industrial and civil fields has been more and more widely applied. Rolling composite is of great potential in the mass production of steel / aluminum composite plate preparation processing method, but the interface bonding strength of composite rolling process and rolling by diffusion annealing process of serious effect.
The explosion composite method successfully made of steel / aluminum composite materials, using the bending test, metallographic and scanning electron microscope, studied the preheating temperature, deformation of steel / aluminum composite in hot rolling bonding strength, interface status and distribution of thickness ratio effect. The results show that: when the total reduction rate is constant, with the increase in temperature, aluminum component pressure increased, steel component pressure decreases, steel and aluminum reduction value increase; preheating temperature is lower than 400 DEG C, bending times as preheat temperature increases, after gradually reduce, the preheating temperature at 400 degrees Celsius with good solid interface bonding strength maximum. When the preheating temperature, with the total pressure increase, steel and aluminum component reduction are proportional to the increase, same trend, but the group element pressure difference value with the total reduction increases with deformation decreases, anti force rolling reduction tend to be consistent; the more the number of large, curved, bonding interface and bonding strength is better; when the total reduction of 20% ~ 30%, bending frequency with pressure volume increase slowly, when the total reduction of > 30%, bending frequency with pressure increase and increase rapidly.
Different diffusion annealing system and different aluminum alloys ( 1050, 4045 and 7072 aluminum alloy ) for hot rolling steel / aluminum composite plate bonding strength, interface morphology. The results showed that: reasonable annealing system for hot rolling steel / aluminum composite plate bond strength increased, at a temperature of 600 DEG C annealing 1H, bending frequency of up to 11 times higher strength, better interface. But the 1050 aluminum composite plate in heat treatment is easily formed on the interface of intermetallic compounds and empty, 4045 and 7072 aluminum alloy composite plate by diffusion annealing interfacial bonding strength was improved obviously, and there is no intermetallic compounds and generation of voids, showed that aluminum alloy containing Si or Zn on steel / aluminum composite plate interface intermetallic compounds and cavity formation has obvious effect.
